Suvarnabumi - where to get VAT refunded

Just as the header says. I am leaving tomorrow and bought an expensive Apple laptop. I'd like to get the VAT back. Any help is appreciated.

BEFORE going trough customs there's an inspection office where an officer checks the goods and the paperwork .

AFTER going trough customs there's a VAT refund office on the way to the gates where you can get your VAT back .

 

I made the mistake first time to go trough customs without checking first . They won't let you go back and no refund .

Even better if you buy your items in Pattaya at King Power and pick it up after imigration at the airport.
