greed my friend, greed. If someone believes you're super wealthy and is desperate/greedy, they're tempted to let you buy on credit. That's why most scammers always make themselves out to be fabulously wealthy, it makes people less wary for some reason - "that person's rich, he'd have no reason to steal from me!"

 

on another note, another stupid scam : a good buddy of mine was at (name of bar withheld) and he told me a fight kicked off out in the street between two thai guys. he didn't move, just drank his beer. A few minutes later a staff member came over and said to him "you take pool stick and hit thai man and break stick, you have to pay 500 baht!" huh? as if he's still be sitting there alive if he'd broken a pool cue over a thai guy's head!! he laughed his ass off, paid his bill and left. Makes you wonder about the intelligence of some of these people.

You would've thought that the bar owners had more brains than this...running up a check-bin's of 200-300k each would ring alarm bells big time..& with no payment upfront?? Come'on your kidding me right?

 

How stupid could you be? Obviously a lot more than we thought!!!

I might agree up to the point where the bar owner hands over 50k in cash, not questioning why her guest wouldn't transfer the amount of the bills, but more. That's not mere greed anymore, but the absence of brains. Thai-bar owner? Have a happy marriage with that one.

No scam AFAIK. She flashed the Baht and she had a lot of fans among the TGs - bit of a celeb' it seemed.

 

Even in the VDO It's not hard to see how easily she switches that smile on and off.
