the stay hotel-soi 10

does anyone know if the stay hotel on soi 10 is guest friendly? thanks for the help....

Currently stay here right now, and yeah they technically are, no charges or bad looks or anything like that. Maybe I havent been here in a while though, but now every guest that comes up has to fill out this separate little form, not just the log for the id they used to have. I have to sign and the lady or ladies have to sign (brought two up last night, no problems) , and then the lady gets a carbon copy. I like that they call when the lady leaves every time. It was kind of annoying though because i called for a devils den outcall to my room, and i had to go downstairs to sign this form. When I stayed at Page10 before they just called my room and asked if it was ok and sent the lady up. I know its a small thing, but just a little detail...

Across the street from "The Stay" there is a massage place, where I had a foot massage today.

The massage lady said she is often called to the Soi 10 hotels for (non-sexual) massages, but that she hated The Stay.

 

Apparantly they charge the girls - prostitutes or other - with a 100 Baht per hour and furthermore treated them like dirt

 

It's secondhand information of course, but I will not be staying there ever.

 

Staying right now at Seame Spring and enjoying it. Very guestfriendly

Just a quick bump to to this thread.

 

I will be in Pattaya next week and most of my usual hotels are booked out so i might give The Stay hotel a go. What are people's impressions of this hotel? I am a bit worried with the phrase "technically friendly" and the other fees noted above. What are your impressions?

I dont have much to add to what I posted earlier, I stay here a couple of times but just because Page10 was booked up for some of the nights I was there.  I stayed in the standard room and the bigger suite when none of the standards were available.  I liked the place, great location of course, and didnt run into any of the bad treatment of the girls like the other poster said, but I could see it happening seeing that they were just a little more careful on guests than other places I stayed.  They just seemed to take a little longer logging the guests in and out.  But the rooms were nice and clean, so it would definitely be on my backup plan list next time I visit, but probably not on the first choice list.
