Questions about Vacation Rentals in Pattaya.

So I am planning my first trip to Pattaya for September next year. I'm planning to go with a group for two weeks, instead of staying in a hotel we've been looking at rental properties around there. The group could be from 2 to 4 people so there is some play in how big a place we would need. So my questions are, has anyone stayed in the rental house in and around Pattaya? What did you think? how close was it to the action? Is it even worth it? things of that nature.

 

I've been looking for a while and a few places have caught my eye. The reviews are all very positive, but I can't talk to those people.
