Thailand is definitely a land of lovely and feminine women; you see them every day working in shops and offices or out shopping. And of course the bars are full of them, I always find real lookers and my age doesn’t matter to them! What I don’t understand then, is why you see so many expats with such tatty-looking wives! I mean the ones who look so old and shapeless, and look as old as the husband. If a man wants an old and unsexy wife, why did he bother to come here, he could have found that with his own nationality? With our better money, expats can have a sexy young wife. I will marry a Thai one day, and I will definitely choose a beautiful, sexy young girl to keep me feeling young and active in my old age.

Sneering at men for their choice of wife, and women for their looks, without knowing a thing about these people, makes you come across as rather arrogant, even moronic some might say. The woman that you say looks tatty and old may well be a loving wife and mother; what do her looks have to do with that?  And only a fool thinks that having a young beauty guarantees receiving better sex than from an older, plain lady. It’s one thing to pay the prettiest bar girl for a leg-over, but marriage involves far more than just nightly visits to the Bounteous Box; you have to find someone who you can happily share everyday life with. By selecting purely on age and looks you could easily come a cropper, but it is your choice, as it is for the expats who happily choose older women.
