Housemaids entitled for day off per week, six vacation leave days a year

The housemaids, Thais or immigrants, now are entitled to at least one day off per week and six vacation leave days per year, Department of Welfare and Labor Protection (DWLP) chief Pakorn Amornchewin said Tuesday.

Gee, Thailand is more advanced than my native USA!

 

I used to work for a company with minimum wages, no benefits, no days of, no overtime, no vacations days etc.

I'm so happy that it's not like that here! I get pissed off that I only get 28 days off a year and have to work 11 out of 14 days!
