Rented this truck from Bryan (LaaMok) for one month to go up to Korat then down to Koh Chang, the truck was excellent for this job and very economical on fuel, all we had to do is buy a cover for the back and tie down our stuff down all for the cost off 250 baht.

I'd like to know this - obviously you'll have 1st class insurance but do you have to put my name on the insurance and can you tell them that you hire it out for money?

 It's the car/truck that is insured fully comprehensive.. As long as you have a valid driving licence for thailand anybody can drive!

ah ok - I have a honda jazz here myself (too small now for moving all my stuff), and I have in the past had a thai girl on the insurance as well as a named driver - blue book in my name) - so I am not sure why she wanted to be on the insurance
