WANTED:22" or larger HD monitor with HDMI

Hello good people of Pattaya. I was lucky enough to find a great bargain here once already, bought myself an Xbox360 (Thanks Kamluan).

My friend here has a kickass HD TV in his room, its perfect for gaming. My room on the other hand, has a very old model TV which sucks for gaming. The left and right sides of the screen are cut off (i cant see minimap in games or portion of HUD for example) and the whole screen is blurry as hell. Cant read anything that is written either, its that blurry and annoys me beyond belief. So im looking for a cheap HD solution. It does not have to be large, a 22" would work, but it has to have HDMI ports so i can plug the console in. If anyone has any recommendations, ideas or sudgestions, please share them with me.

 

P.S. I looked into using my laptop screen, but i have to buy a capture card and a whole tentacle-mess of wires to make it work. Even then, its a 50/50 chance my laptop will not support it, there is lag, sound is crap and so is the video quality itself. Please help!

Monitor will have no sound, So are you not better off with a 1080p TV instead?

I have a DELL 30" here back in my home country and looks rubbish (blurry etc) to my 47" LED TV... I'd rather my PS3 or Xbox360 on TV any day to a monitor.

But is your Dell 30" an HD monitor? If its a regular CRT of course it will be blurry. Thats the issue i am facing now with my old ass CRT TV.

You can get Samsung 22 to 27 inch computer monitors at Tukcom 3rd floor for not a lot that have HDMI. Like someone else said, no sound from the monitor. Does your game console have a headphone jack so you don't piss off your neighbors? :-)

Oh, and 32 inch Samsung TVs are on sale at Big C Extra for between 10000-13000 baht. They have HDMI and high refresh rates.
