Hotel advice please........

Hi lads

 

I would appreciate some help and advice on hotels which have the following :-

 

Strong wi-fi signal in all rooms. Most important due to business.

 

Good, powerfull, wall mounted shower.

 

Clean.

 

Room safe.

 

No joiner. better if reception take cards off the girls and call you when they leave.

 

Location - central but not too noisy - above a night-club/go-go bar for example.

 

Around £25 per night is my preferable budget.

 

I have stayed in Page 10 and LK Reannaisance which fit this criteria although i wanted to save a little cash on this next trip.

 

I have also stayed in Areca but wi-fi signal in rooms is poor - again a little expensive but locations on these 3 are great.

Maybe you can try April Suites?

 

Smaller rooms than Page 10, but equally clean and tidy. Price is cheaper too

April Suites is clean, nice pool, good wifi, no traffic or gogo noises, reception takes ID:s. Only complaint is that you will hear what neighbors are up to. Including when they switch lights on or off.

Try Whitehouse condotel - I have stayed - good rooms and service - its near Lek hotel.

Have stayed a few times and they tick all your requirements.

For wifi just tell you want close room to router foe extra strong signal

4hotels in one, 4 pools and other benefits.

100 metres from big c and same from beach road.

Give Baboona a try, the internet works well on the big balcony while your looking out over the bay it doesnt get better than that and its only a few minutes walk to some bloody good bars etc, its way cheaper but still quite classy IMHO.

Why would anyone ever pay a joiner/guest fee? As a single man YOU ARE ALREADY PAYING FOR A DOUBLE ROOM: THE SAME RATE AS IF YOU HAD BOOKED FOR TWO PEOPLE! But I am intrigued that you use WIFI for business. It's not secure is it?

I'm no expert but as far as I know, wi-fi is no more and no less secure than any other.

 

Markysparky - Sandy Spring ticks all your boxes. Their wi-fi reception used to be poor and I too need it all the time for work. Last time I went, a couple of weeks ago, they proudly told me they had upgraded it and indeed they have - it's sound as a pound now.

I have stayed a couple of times in April Suites and can recommend it. When I had problems with the wi-fi, the actually send up a real technician, who knew what he was doing. No probs after that!

Try telling that to reception when you stay at Holiday inn next time........I paid for a double room!
