SAS close to bankruptcy

Not really surprised. You can always get better long haul deals from almost all other European operators if flying from Scandinavia. And on top of that friends who have used SAS a lot for work say that they try to get other companies flights if possible. Reason: client interaction to even gold level passengers is bordering to hostile.

From Copenhagen we have 2 direct flights to Bangkok, Thai Airways and SAS. I would choose Thai any time, even if the price was higher than SAS I would still choose Thai Airways.

I have always wondered how SAS can compete with Thai Airways to the Bangkok destination. Thai is cheaper with the flight price and everything is just better than SAS.

no not everything,sas have better speaking scandinavian skills but all other department thai is better.so i wont shed any tears over the jurassic parks demise.

A little part of me is glad as about 5 years ago I paid €1300 for an out of season economy flight to Bangkok with them and they had the cheek to try charge me €5 for a can if beer.
