Anybody flown Jet Airways to BKK

I'm living in Qatar and Jet Airways is coming in at a good price and good timings.

Has anybody flew with Jet Airways connecting in Mumbai?

If so, how was the airline and the connection in Mumbai?

thanks

Why not just go direct with Qatar for the sake of what must be only around 50 Quid it would provide a much better experience.

Mumbai is not for the faint hearted and if you get a delay then without a Visa you are stuck in a Hot Madhouse Airport.

Not used them myself but check out Airline Reviews Forum and then Opt for you direct Flight

I have used them and they are cheap the leg I to Mumbai is the worst a lot of bad hygiene on board when I travelled but watch the times coming back if its less than 1.5 hours you have to book seperate flights and needs visa . Quarar is ok without the issues or use emirates into Dubai if your flush because your a tax free expat 555

Spend the extra $$ and go with Qatar Airlines you will not be disappoined. Two of my last three trips were a fucking nightmare especially when you have the flood of emotions on know you are on your way back to the Land of Smiles.

First time this year (May) I went Gulf Air, the airline cancelled the connection out of Bahrain to BKK and I was notified until checking in at the gate in Doha. Ended gettting a Qatar Air. Second time this year (Aug) I spent the additional $$$ and went Qatar Air...very, very pleased. Tried a Eitihad this time (Oct/Nov) and airline tried push my reserveation after I had booked the flight by 12 hours in Abu Dhabi to BKK, got them to get me back on the original flight just to have tthe Etihad flight out Doha delayed 5 hours; they ended putting me on Qatar Air in the end because I would miss my connection in Abu Dhabi.

A friend of mine took the Jet Air from Doha - Mumbai-BKK and said if you enjoy a flight of smelling curry and body odor you can have it. He also had the same remarks for the airport in Mumbai. I have also heard people tell me on this last trip...you don't want to fly through any of the ports at all, unless you have to as the sanitation is poor at best compared to western standards.

Next trip will without a doubt be with Qatar Air...straight in and out with fucking about.

thanks guys, yes I have always flown Qatar Airways to BKK; 5 times this year alone.

But the prices for QA are getting crazy. Almost 1000 USD for a 6.5 hour direct flight from Qatar. Jet Airways is 573 USD.

So there is a $400 USD difference between Qatar Airways and Jet.

I'm just trying to decide how much flying direct vs a stinky plane and dealing with transferring in Mumbai is worth to me.
