Chiang Mai compared to Pattaya

Just got back to Pattaya after a week in Chiang Mai. Being the perverted mongerer i am i decided to stay in chiang mai's red light district. Loi Krah Road. I've never seen so many massage parlours all one street, every 1 i went into offered a happy ending aswel, and i went in a lot. There was definitely a shortage of bars in this area, especially as it was supposed to be a red light district. There's a small square of pink lit bars with a boxing ring at the end, i never saw a fight but boxers would always come round every few hours asking for money. I saw 1 agogo bar, B150 to enter but with a free drink. Inside there was 2 ladies dancing, nothing special about them, the place was pretty much dead. Chatting to various bar girls at their bars it seemed the standard rates for ST is B2000 & LT B3000. In Pattaya i usually pay B1000 for a LT. After 1pm almost the whole town was shut. I didnt see one bar girl i thought i HAD to take back to my hotel. However i did visit a thai disco called Infinity, i would have sponsered all the women in there, almost all of them looked like supermodels. If you decide to visit Chiang Mai you may be disappointed if you come from Pattaya first but the good girls of Chiang Mai are stunning. Its good to be back in Pattaya now though, home sweet home

This was my experience as well. Especially the 2000 ST and 3000 LT. Even from beer bar girls.

 

I like Chiang Mai for some of their golf courses and the Khao Soi (spelling - the soup man). But it is not a monger destination.

Also, which Gogo charged 150 entrance? I only know of two, and neither of them charge...

Yeah, there is the Spotlight and Foxy Ladies. Neither charged me an entrance fee. Good point. Maybe there is a 3rd gogo bar I didn't know about.

You do get charged 150 baht to go into star sixx but get your first drink free.

 

To other guys I have only ever paid 1000 baht LT from the beer bars ST or LT, gogo bars its 1500 - 2000 baht LT

why would you compare the 2 ? pattaya is for the mongerer,

 

chiang mai is for sightseeing and enjoying the country life. plus if you not old or ugly theres plenty of hot girls you can pick up for free.
