Another disappointing result this weekend against Palace. They scored early and went down to ten men, Leeds managed to get the equaliser but never made the extra man count. A few people i know, made the journey to Palace, there were 4000 + Leeds fans in attendance. They have said it was another terrible performence, have questioned Graysons tactics.

 

Rumours are that Warnocks name has been mentioned as a possible replacement. I think that Graysons days are numbered now. I think however that the they should stick with him and give him some money to spend. If Bates isn't prepared to back him then he should get someone else in.

 

Problem is expectations are high at Leeds, supporters need to get real though. The Championship is a very good division, probably the most competative of them all and but the current Leeds side are just mediocre. Not good enough this season.

Blamed Peter Ridsdale for fucking up Leeds United big time... Sold the Training Grounds and their Staduim for measly £4.5 million and dragged Leeds Utd to the ground with millions of pounds of debt, buying players that cost too much plus wages was sky high.. And had to pay the wages of players on free transfer to make up the loss of wages in their new clubs because of contract clause.. That is why Leeds Utd was freefalling all those years.. Don Revie would never allow that happen. He was shrewd boss that can make a rubbish player playing great... Best boss i ever seen, up there with Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Matt Busby, Sir Alex and the Special one.

I agree he did but we have had more than enough time to recover. When Bates came in in 2005 he promised the earth, so far he has delivered nothing. We are now a profitable Club, with no debt as they were wrote off when we went into admin. He keeps telling us we are trading in profit. Not that i advocate the spending of Ridsdale BUT he just isn't doing enough.

 

By now we should be in a much better position to compete on the field. I do not feel that we are in a position to compete in the division due to his refusal to spend fans money on getting better players into the Club.

For a big club like Leeds United with great History , it is sad to see where they are, Sacking Grayson today, Back to square one again, will take a long time to come back where they should be, Premiership ....

Been on the card's for a while IMO. I for one felt that Grayson could not take us any further. Have felt in many games when we have been struggling, he has an inability to change things. Two of our very few recent wins only happened because the opposition were down to 10 men. Can't see why Bates has waited till the close of the Transfer window to do it though. Whoever he appoints now has to work with the same bunch!!.... .......Hiding to nothing. Just need Snoddy to go now, to round off another disappointing season.

I agree, Grayson's management during the games is poor, his substitutions are not what is needed at certain times. I'm sad to see him go as he is a massive leeds fan but he has taken us as far as he can.

Be careful what you dont wish for Perth!

Let's give him a chance. proven at that level, is passionate, and doesn't seem to take any shit. and if he get's us up this year or next...........he'll have a big club to play with for a change!!!

I think Neil Warnock will bring Leeds where they should be, In the Premiership... Looking at his CV over the years, he is the man that will establish Leeds to the premiership..Give em a chance, Wont be surprised if Leeds is in the top four before the end of the season... Warnock in my opinion a Heartbeat of football..

Ah Leeds yes...we love them

We had about 50 of their knobheads buy tickets in the home end at Yeovil. Caused mayhem. Luckily they were escorted elswhere eventually. That we played against them in the same division is huge credit to us for managing to get such a tiny club to league 1 level and showed just how far Leeds fell due to years of poor club management and profiligacy. A few years ago we were Conference and they were Premier league.

Now they are back in the Championship, having got rid of Grayson who was a good manager.

Personally I think Bates has lost the plot long ago

Hope Leeds return to the Prem soon....they take thousands everywhere they go and have a decent ground too that Premiership football should be played in. I will always remember being at the West Ham V Leeds game as a kid at the end of the season when Leeds made the Champions League....the noise was awesome from the 3k or so that went! Must have been about 10 years ago now.

 

I'm actually going Elland Rd next month for the West Ham game....should be a good beer up COYI!
