A man skilled in Thai boxing fought police trying to arrest him, after he hurled a vinegar bottle at a passing car that injured two passengers. The man said the car’s female driver almost scraped him with her car as he was standing on the road by passing traffic.

PATTAYA – November 5, 2012 [PDN]; at 8:45 p.m., a report of a foreign-looking man throwing a hard object at a car and cracking a mirror that injured two people was received by Pol. Col. Somneuk Jankate, Superintendent, Banglamung police station, Chonburi province. He rushed to inspect the scene with the Nong Preu police team and the Banglamung volunteer police.

The incident occurred at Soi Mabyailia 37, Nernplubwarn, Moo 5, Tambon Nong Preu, Amphur Banglamung. Arriving police discovered the damaged car, a white Honda Civic, red license plate number THOR-1586 Bangkok.

The car’s outside mirror of the passenger door was shattered by a vinegar bottle thrown by the trouble maker. The impact made a big hole in the mirror and caused a broken shard of glass to hit Ms. Klommas Yuthanava, age 22, a passenger in the car who was cradling her 8-month-old son. Both of them were injured so the police sent them to the hospital.

Police questioned the car’s driver, Ms. Noppawan Soeheng, age 25, who is the daughter of imam Sa-ngob Soeheng, of the Nuloonyagreen mosque in the middle of Soi Nernplabwarn.

Ms. Noppawan said she was driving her car that contained her younger sister who was carrying her young son Taweesak, and another daughter sitting in the back seat. As they approached the spot where the incident occurred, Ms. Noppawan saw a foreign-looking man carrying a bottle of water, who was standing in front of a pickup truck that was parking on the side of the road. So she slowed down and drove past the trouble maker.

Then she saw the man put down the water bottle and walk to her car. Then the man hurled the glass bottle of vinegar at the car on the passenger side where her younger sister and son were sitting. The piece of shattered mirror bounced off into her younger sister’s eyes, and her son’s head got injured as well. Then the foreign man who made trouble ran away. So she notified the police.

After hearing the victim’s report, Pol. Col. Somneuk Jankate commanded the police and volunteer police to follow up to chase the trouble maker. Less than an hour later, the officers found the suspect was running away to his house at the beginning of Soi Mabyailia 39. So the volunteer police ran after him, but the trouble maker was a boxer so he used his knee to jump-kick an officer, and used a key to stab the officer until got he got injured, but he was arrested finally.

In their initial investigation, police discoved that the trouble maker is a foreigner, possibly from a Middle East country. He appeared to be between 25- to 30-years-old. Because of his fighting skills displayed in resisting his arrest, police assumed that he has an occupation as a boxer in area of Pattaya and Banglamung.

When questioned, the man claimed that the car’s driver had deliberately tried to scrape him with her vehicle, so he got angry and threw the vinegar bottle at the car. However, the police will investigate the trouble maker again to find the real cause of making trouble.

Initially, the police charged him with an accusation of destroying other people’s property and resisting and beating a police officer, then restrained him to prosecute further according to the law.

I think he will regret attacking the Thai coppers and resisting arrest.

They have no sense of humour about such things

Is it me or was that a competition to write the most number of times, the word "trouble" in one paragraph!

Well he was a troublesome troublemaker who gave a lot of trouble and now finds himself in a spot of trouble :GoldenSmile1:
