I get Mild Fever and Cold (Running nose) when I reach pattaya

My problem is quite peculiar, I have been visiting pattaya for last 10-12 years, Recently in last 2 years, whenever i reach pattaya for holiday, immediately within 1 or 2 days - I shall start getting severe cold and mild fever - and its often disrupts my vacation.

Immediately I need to take some pills or spray's to avoid being sick on a holiday.

But, as soon I exit pattaya to Bkk - My Cold and Fever is vanished immediately - When I went to Pattaya hospital, the Doctor's tell me its problem due to Sea area and air pollution. Strange thoughts given by doctors on pollution in pattaya.

Any advise on on BM's on this issue to avoid minor health issues on my holiday.

It is the air-con. Much to my own relief it is not from eating vaginas. Get used to not having the AC on ice cold all the time.

Air con or breathing the air on the flight coming over. As LR says try to avoid AC as much as you can.

Are you coming to Pattaya direct or you have been in Bangkok? etc.. This use to happen to me it could be a combinations of many factors of just being worned out and timing of coming to Pattaya. Pattaya is also one of those places where you go from hot to cold-cold to hot aircon and after a while it wears you down and then the fever and a cold.

You might also look at the temperature setting on your aircon, if your room is like a ice box you might want to bring the number up slowly from 18-25, and if your bed is located right in line with the stream of cold air while you sleep and snore with your mouth open that just adds to it? Take a stick and push up the flap a little to direct the stream over your bed instead directly at you?

Take some vitamins too? and stop smoking?
