I dunno really,

Its a combination of a few things for me.

1, Book another trip asap after getting home. (target sort of thing)

2, Work like a fucker to keep the mind occupied & to pay for the next trip.

3, Spend some of my free time on here.

4, Plan & scheme things to do on the next trip (inevitably said plans will go out of the window once youre there)

5, Try not to piss too much of my money down the pub after work.

I would also welcome any other ideas too.

This forum can help kill some time between trips

As has been posted before, I agree that you should book your next trip as soon as you can. Once I had booked my upcoming trip, even though its 190 days away, I did feel more content.

I generally pass the time by working my butt off, keeping up with my hobby, basically being sufficiently occupied.

Also I try to save money and be frugal where I can so that I can fulfill my planned trip budget. This means not going out to party so much etc. However, it's not like I keep myself from doing certain things I just weigh up if it is worth doing for me, some things can be sacrificed, some things don't need to be.

I also read up on the forum a good deal this sometimes helps and it can hurt too (wishing you were there experiencing what you have been reading), so be careful!

If you have written a trip report(s), read the report(s) over again, look at the pictures you have taken and enjoy the memories knowing that in time, new memories will be created.

Make a bucket list for your next trip (not that planning helps for Pattaya) of new things you would like to do and experience during your next trip. Research these new things on the forum.

I used to stay in contact with a few girls, chatting with them and receiving the odd picture can be fun and help a little but in some cases it can backfire if they start asking for money etc.

Guess all you can say is chin up, the (your) time will come eventually.

Yea working 6 years after I was going to retire thanks to being cleaned out in a divorce.

Spending time looking after my 91 YO mother that my brother and sister cannot understand why I have not offloaded her into the care system ( she is still active for her age)

I have found over the last couple of years I am finding it harder to look after my fitness, more things to do in the house, at work I am a dinosaur compared to my colleagues in what I find a demanding position.

I go out once a week with friends but since finding LOS I am a pariah with their partners as the males never relent on quest for trip reports and I hate wasting money here that brings such joy in SEA.

I find most women here unattractive and the ones I do find attractive in our convention I would never stand a chance.

I spend far to much time on here but in my case it does not ease the pain, the posts, content and worse the pictures make me yearn so much for the company of those lovely girls who make my life worth living.

Booking the next trip does not always help my Feb trip is already booked, I cannot book my May trip because I find if you book to far in advance you pay "through the nose", my return including SIN GP and LOS is planned, should I live that long!

Work work work OT as much as possible.

Jump on PA to fill the void and read about my favorite city.

That is about it...except the Thai porn of course that other has mentioned.

Oh and now the BBBJCIM visits at a place near home....although this may defeat the OT and savings part.

I always throw myself back into my normal routine of work, gym, sit in an airport, work, go out, sit in a different airport, work and the go out and go crazy. I travel a lot with work and I find the time flies between trips, I once went a whole 12 months between trips and it felt as if I had never left as soon as I got back into town.

The last two trips have been a bit shite as Pattaya is starting to feel like Groundhog Day - there are only so many things you can do for the first time.........

I am still thinking about heading out next week for a quick 8 day trip.....

Work hard, try to set small goals to accomplish things in that time remaining, refrain from thai porn, visit PA, and think about all of the fun you will have!
