After changing my initial plans, I've booked the first day of my stay at the Royal Palace Hotel on 2nd road. Looks okay but a little dated maybe. Good location, near Pattaya City Walk and easy walking distance to Privi Suites where I'll be staying from day 2 onwards.

Anyone been there recently? Doesn't seem to get mentioned much on here and can't find many reviews elsewhere.

Is it girl friendly or do they have joiner fees ?

I stayed there in 2005, Girls friendly but pay if bring 2nd girl/Lb.... Room excellent. hotel in perfect locations for Newbie or Anyone who often goes to Walking st or beach rd or anywhere along the 2nd rd...

Have stayed there a couple of years back, find the Royal Twins hotel next door better though.

Just a tad better maintained at the 'Twins' although I imagine they are the same owned?
