It's hard for me to make plans and stick to them in pattaya,i didn't

want to commit and not show up,but it looks like a concert i would enjoy,

oh well maybe next year

Wow Thailand has come a long way musically since I was there last (circa 98-99). I'm a massive metal fan and when I was travelling through Thailand rock and metal was pretty unheard off. Michael Jackson was extremly popular and so was Thai love songs and techno etc. Definetly going to have to check out "The Rock Pub" in Bangkok when I am in Thailand next.

 

Thanks for posting the youtube click of Soulfly in Bangkok. Looked like it was a great gig. Was the mosh pit brutal?

about a week prior to Soulfly i saw Unearth in the Rockpub

 

 

you should also check Carnivora, as said before, Thailand's number1 metalband and the singer owns the Immortalbar

 

 

 

yeah there were pits!! The Thai metalkids are entousiastic fans.

I can't believe The Rock Pub will be celebrating their 25th anniversary soon. The venue has been there all this time and I never knew about it. Also sounds like the Immortal Bar owned by the singer of Carnivora could be another place to check out. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
