i stayed in a studio condo at the vt6 last july and really liked it much better than a hotel. was wondering other than Dancewatchers is there any other way to book a condo there. just wanting more options. thanks

yes. as you have stayed there you should have seen the rental office at the bottom of the condo ( level 3 ) i think its call VTSIX.COM

i know there are other site that does this but this is the only one i know of right now that does rent out the condo.

its BETTER to be PISSED OFF then PISSED ON!!!..

also www.agoda.com now has several condos on there website. there price is similar to a hotel room in the 50 to 60 dollar/night range and i never got charged for maid service thru them whereas with dance watchers i did.

i was going to stay at xmas but there price is up, way up.

Hey guys

How does the maid service work here? I haven't stayed in an apartment before, only hotels. Do they clean rooms daily, change towels etc? What time does the maid service happen? Is there an additional charge for this? I am looking at Vtsix and Honey's as well.

If you are on a monthly rental, you typically need to look after your own maid service, laundry, towels and utilities.  Most rooms should have extra linens so you can get the other set laundered.  Laundry is cheap and convenient with probably half dozen laundry services on main level.

If you get a room daily, then typically all inclusive.  If a monthly rental works out to 1000 baht a day, then typically same room is about 2000 baht on an all inclusive daily.

I personally prefer to have maid service come in when I need them and I don't want or need them in daily.  There are maid packages you can request if you are there on a monthly basis.

You don't need to worry about all this is you are on short stay,(say a week or two) as you'll need to pay more and have all services included.  There may be variations to this.

I just stayed in VT6 at beginning of March.  I went through Dancewatchers, which offered its own maid service for a daily fee.  On third floor there were other maid services being offered for tenants/owners, so you could choose that way.  There are groups and individuals who are renting their condos there, so there are many choices.  Probably a search of condo rentals if you are not able to walk 3d floor.  That said, Dancewatchers was painless and the room was fantastic.  I did spend more for 3 nights there than the other 3 weeks in country combined, but that was from burning through a mountain of hotel points for free or cheap stays.  It felt nice to splurge.

I stayed there twice using agora with vtsix. The price was about $77 and the maid service sucked some days they did not clean the room or changed the sheets. I like Dancewatchers better

I have sayed there many times through Dancewatchers.

Even though they charge extra if you want maid service, still much less expensive than the 3 different brokers that list on Agoda.

The lady that met me to give me the key and show me the room was the same one that would be cleaning it, asked me what is best time to clean each day.

Next trip I have booked the 96sq meter room with the jacuzzi on the balcony, 4350b total including all fees and cleaning.

Best deal in town for a room like that.
