What is the best file to download ona torrent site?

 

What i mean is what is the thing to look for at the end like "avi" etc etc etc?

I would say the ones with the most seeders/leechers. Any crap or fake files generally die an early death.

See when i am downloading a torrent is it a good por bad idea to click the "don't download" option on pasrts of the music or film you are downloading so other parts download quicker then once that part is downloaded you click the "high priority" button and start to download that section?

I usually just let it roll and d/l at it's own speed, though sometimes using a higher priority can improve the times on specific files. If there are many more leechers than seeders then you just have to get in line with the rest.

www.videolan.org for the vlc media player, it plays A N Y T H I N G

 

I dont know how it does it, but it plays everything from wmv to avi to mkv to video phone files

 

it's amazing and tiny, and you never have to hunt down codecs again
