Day Night apartments - quick review

I have just viewed these apartments as a possible long stay residence.

These are not to be confused with the day night hotel, in the central area, that hotel do not offer long stay rooms, only night rates, the day night is clearly visible from most places around patts.

They are in roughly the same area, a few soi's down. It is in the middle of a gay district, which may have it's appeal to some, but that area does also have some great restaurants and some karaoke bars (mostly short time gay karaoke though).

the apartments have a manned reception area, and security. The reception also has a bar and there is a restaurant next door.

The rates are 7000bt for a month (water and electric extra), THERE IS NO WI-FI in rooms, only in the cafe area! (you may be able to get round this if you obtain the key)

The rooms are accessed by lifts or stairs and are situated around an open courtyard, the rooms looked pretty secure and there were none that i saw that had full door metal grills, some had secure locks and all had the option for you to use a padlock for extra security.

the room itself was fairly small, comprising of a small portable tv on a unit, a double bed, a wardrobe, and a desk, all very small in size. the bathroom had a bathtub with shower over it, a sink and a toilet, all of average size. there was no view to speak of only over other apartments.

there was a security presence on every floor and they do offer a laundry service at reasonable rates.

There is no pool.

It would be a possibility, but the rooms are a little basic for my liking, though they could appeal to some on a budget.

knowledge is power my brothers!

I stayed at the hotel before It's close enough to walk from there and there are regular Baht buses plus lots of food stalls and shops nearby for the basics.

Do you have any photo's of the place?

PS:

Also it's a good place to meet up with BM Deadman as he is often in the area :Cry3:

There's light at the end of this long tunnel
