100 Baht Van to Bangkok Victory Monument from Pattaya Tai

Hello guys. I just thought I would mention a great and cheap service which leaves every 30 minutes from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. It's an air conditioned Van which drops you off at Victory Monument near the Skytrain where you can get to the airport and throughout Bangkok. There is one small stop on the way at a gas station with a collection of other vans doing the same thing. These type services can be found on Beach Road and 2nd Road but they tend to charge 130-150 Baht.

 

The location of this particular Van pickup point is Pattaya Tai Soi 22 in front of Family Mart and Center Condo. There is a small desk next to Family mart where you buy your tickets.

A good pick up point is just outside Honey Lodge hotel just outside of Walking Street. Just a warning....they do not have much storage space so last time I took it I bought 2 tickets. Its worth it for the extra legroom.

Is it 100 baht as well? They have pick up places all over Pattaya, some of them charge more.

Definitely a little bit more than 100 baht. And yes same same price per seat.

This is great option if your heading into BKK, not to the Airport though. If your looking to spend the day in BKK this looks like it, or your other choice is to catch a bus to Mochit.

Never would advise travelling in these death traps earlier this year while collecting family from airport saw one crashed into rear of slowmoving vehicle 6 died the driver ran away it was jan, word on the street drivers are not great combo of been tired, hungover/drunk, inexperience, speeding to meet schedules and continously on the phone I think there are some warning on various gov sites about this form of transport travel in thailand these tin cans packed with 14 people are truly death traps IMO.
