Jet Ski Operator drowns off Pattaya Beach

A 20 year old Jet Ski Operator drowned in mysterious circumstances off the coast of Pattaya on Monday. The body of Khun Maetee was found, floating face-down close to his White and Yellow Jet Ski and close to the Bali Hai Port at the southern end of Pattaya Beach by the Captain of a pleasure boat. The body of the man and the Jet Ski were recovered and Police made an initial inspection of the body and found no visible signs of injury. The man’s father, Khun Noree, was called and confirmed the dead man was his son. He revealed to Police that his son would spend most nights at local Internet Café’s and would remain there until the early morning. He would then start work later in the morning on Pattaya Beach in front of Soi 6, where he rents his Jet Ski to tourists. His father believes that his hectic lifestyle caused him to pass-out as he rode the Jet Ski. This is merely speculation for now and Police will wait for the results of a post mortem examination which should determine the exact cause of death.

Always a waste of a Young Life, and I bet Drink and maybe other Substances were involved in his Death.

 

I have never had an issue with these Guys myself and indeed the last Trip spent a few Hours sat with various Groups just having a Chat.

 

We talked about many things, and they were interested about all my Tattoos covering my Body.

 

For sure some are crooks but then so are some Falangs who come to Pats who would fleece you just as quick.

Sad end to a young life. A lot of gloating as he was a JetSki operator & so presumed a scammer. Unless this is definately known i find it distasteful as although scammers are prevalent i wound think that a lot & probably the majority of Jetski operators are ok & just earning a living.

It may have been an accident or for all we know he may have upset the wrong person but i think a young death deserves some sympathy.

Even though he may or may not have been involved in scams, it is sad when a person passes at an early age, especially for his family and friends. RIP
