Man with giant tongue catches fly on Beach Road-Buskers in Fun Town

Reports of a giant-tongued man catching flies on Beach Road were quickly discounted when we saw this busker recently performing with his large didgeridoo.

He proved to be a popular source of entertainment and was given money by tourists and Thais alike, with many interested Thais stopping to listen to the unusual sounds emanating from his instrument.

Busking by foreigners seems to be on the increase in Fun Town, probably due to the economic downturn, although we can only think that buskers (or their money) must be easy prey for officials looking to expand their own rice bowls when they come across them performing on the streets of Pattaya.
