I wish to bus it from Patts to Snooky for a combination 3 day stay/visa run. Can some knowledgeable person pass me info on such a trip?

Bus schedule - going and returning?

Price?

Duration of trip?

Places to stay?

Tips?

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Given your time constraints, no disrespect intended to Kundai's choice, but I would buy a minibus ticket from a Pattaya TA for 800 Baht.

They'll collect you from your hotel and deliver you all the way to Cham Yeam crossing.

On the other side talk to the touts and they'll put you in a shared taxi for 1000 - 1500 or your own for about 2500.

That way you'll be in Snoozeyville for tea time and avoid wasting a night in Koh Kong with a long bus ride next day.

A big yes to getting e-Visa online - $25 not the $40 one which google throws up first - look for mfaic in the link.

Also, read some of the threads in the Cambodia section before you go.

Had a couple of very hairy trips in Mini-vans and seen quite a few smashed up.

I would rather take my time and get a look at places ,food stops etc. tend to be quite good on the thai bus stations, 5-6 hours is plenty for me to stay on a bus unless its the special long distance luxury ones, travelling all day I find tiring , but a few hours in aircon bus in the heat of the day is a bit of a relaxing day
