I am looking for suggestions for accomadation in the mentioned Sois.1000-2000 baht,

Summer Spring Hotel is nice, about 4 years old I think. It is on Soi 2, has a rooftop pool and good service. Sister hotel to Sandy Spring on soi 13. Stayed there a few years back and would stay again, except I get the Marriott free each year due to points.

The Summer Spring is on Soi 1. I have stayed there a few times and I like it. There is a good Thai restaurant about half way up the soi, and some good places to eat on Beach Road, either side of the soi.

It's a decent accomodation, directly located at Beach Road.If you don't expect a 4* or 5* standard then you won't be disappointed.

I stayed at Sabai Lodge on Soi 2 a few times, it was a real nice place, but thats before they tore down the bars on Soi2. I imagine it's alot quieter now.

I always stay on summer spring hotel. Good price, nice hotel, nice pool. Food is good too.

i love the beer bars at the top of the soi. Great bands, open late. Take some time to explore the night life on second road around soi 1 & 2. I like it, nice and relaxing.

 

I recommend this area very much. I even bought a bunch of suits at the Harry Potter Tailer on Soi 1 near beach road. He's the only tailer in Patts that doesn't chase me down the road. He just site in his chair and says hello when i walk past.

Yea, the Harry Potter tailor always had a friendly smile and a hello. None of the usual tailor hard sell.
