School Janitor accused of selling drugs to students at School in Rayong Province

A school Janitor is one of four drug dealing suspects arrested by Sattahip Narcotics Officials in the early hours of Thursday. The first to be detained was the Janitor, Khun Boosaya aged 30, who is employed by a Government-controlled school in Baan Chang in Rayong Province. He was accused of selling drugs to students at the school and was arrested during an undercover operation. Information from him led Police to conduct a further undercover operation at a rented apartment also in Baan Chang where officers received intelligence to suggest at least one of the suspects inside the room was armed. Government Narcotics Officers who were themselves armed, conducted a raid on the room and initially encountered problems with those inside who refused to open the front door. Eventually the door was opened and the 2 men and 1 woman inside were detained and 13 Yabba Tablets were found concealed within the lining of a sofa along with a licensed 30 calibre Smith & Wesson handgun. Marked bank notes were used to purchase two Yabba Tablets from the group who joined the School Janitor at Sattahip Police Station where they were formally charged with serious class 1 drug offences.
