Totally agree!! I was just commenting on the two recent purchases of Nightwish and Skybar.

 

I don't think any PA member should contemplate purchasing a bar on Soi 6 at present, with both the new owned bars, old fave Quicky and also popular Ruby, it's getting pretty crowded in the race for a drinking / mongering dollar

Depends on your perspective really. If the soi continues to be developed by new bar owners then it will attract more people. LK Metro is a good example of what was once a pretty dowdy spot being improved and attracting more and more businesses and more and more customers. Conversely look at sois 7 and 8 maybe they have gone backwards? Lots of potential for the six to become even more iconic than it already is.

Imagine if the soi was filled with PA members that owned bars on this street.

Soi 6 is already my favorite place so I would love to just give all the holiday money to all my mates and the lovely girls that work at their bars.

I also heard Only yesterday that in an effort to keep patronage at Quicky, some major renovations are in store to revamp the place. As more places are modernised, you are very correct in that it will attract more customers. I think the girls like working in fun drinking bars as well

 

And yes Soi's 7 and 8, being closer to Walking Street and major shops may suffer (Cherry Bar's move may be a sign of that). Perhaps Soi 6 will become a hybrid street and forge a new identity
