Tinnitus

Anyone have tinnitus( noise in the ears) and have you found anything that was affective to treat it??

tja...not much to do, I got it after a ting tong guy decided to lite a new year rocket where we were seated under the roof of the terrace.

 

Took me good 3 years to finally stop thinking of it....only thing that helps..is sound. I got it bad on one ear, but work 100 % ..so I guess I manage.

 

But coffee, loud music, stress etc..makes it worse..so

There's nothing you can do about that. Just try to ignore the noise and never go out without some ear protection to prevent making it worse. Have it for over 10 years and it never stops. The more you concentrate on it the more it's gonna bother you.

For me alcohol and a very quite place makes it worse. I hope you can get use to ignore it. Good luck.

Funnily enough just been to the Dr today re ringing in the ears that seems to have come on very loudly in the last few weeks with no specific cause.He looked in the ears and said they were a bit waxy and gave me olive oil to put in them 3 times a day,he said the ringing would stop/decrease when they were clearer.I know it's a thing that many people have and there is no apparent cure,but it may be worth getting your ears cleared just to see.Not expensive or risky to give it a try.
