One of two suspects wanted in connection with the recent gun and arson attack on a house in East Pattaya has now given himself up to Police. Chief Petty Officer First Class Suchan aged 41, who was accompanied by Royal Thai Navy Legal Advisers, presented himself to Banglamung Police Station on Monday afternoon, in response to the issuance of an arrest warrant in his name. The Petty Officer denied the allegations brought against him and because of his position and exemplary track record during his Navy career he was given immediate bail after he was formally charged with firearms and arson offences. Police have told us that a search of his home has already taken place and extra evidence which is being kept confidential for now, is in the hands of Police who are confident they are in a position to charge the Petty Officer. The 47 year old Sister of the home owner who was subjected to the early morning attack on his house and cars, is now known to be in United States of America but has assured Police she will also present herself to them upon her return, to explain her side of the case.
