Hey fellow members.

Looking for some help for a nice place to stay during mid december to end of january.

The other times i have been to pattaya i have always stayed at a friends guesthouse in jomtien but this time i would like to stay more central in pattis.

Would like to have a kingsize bed, internet connection(wifi), atleast a decent pressure in shower(guess that could depend on floor ;) )

Price range hmm about 10000-18000bath per month.

Appriciate all help !

cheers!

Peak high season you'll struggle to get a 4-6 week rental for that price.. Either they all have long term tenants or will be capitalizing on the peak time!!!

You may have a little bit of joy in the higher part of your range, but you may need to up your target.

Low season you'd have no problems!

Hope I'm wrong and best of luck

I tried condo for december and was doubledbooked :high season dont trust sites.

Guy then tried to substitute a 112area condo for a 35 condo as if i was an idiot.

Best prices got by trying the area where u want to stay and deciding.

First, dump your bags on a friend

Will probably then just take one week then at the guest house and try to find another place

Cheers! :D

I have stayed at the Pattaya Bay Resort three times. The whole month of Feb, 2012, May 2012, and October 2012. They have a monthly rate of 18,000 Baht per 30 day period. Plus electricity. About 7 bht per hour..usually $60 more. They have a construction expansion statring this Monday but go on their web site or email them about prices. King size beds, maid service twice weekly, fair internet, hot water, refrigerator in room, good tv reception, great staff. Breakfast not included when monthly rental. 125 bht extra for break except I dont like their break. I eat out at McDonlds or Au Bon Pain for a continental break. Cafe Pascal on 2nd road..a short distance from the Avenue shop Ctr on 2nd avenue (turn left at the Avenue shop ctr) has a great break buffet for about 185 bht. It is the best breakfast buffet in the area. The other ones are garbage. Cafe Pascal is only about $1 more and worth it. Lots of different breads, rolls, an omlet station with pancakes on request, fresh coffee which is actually pretty good for thailand. Location is 2nd Avenue behind the Avenue Shopping Center and about Soi 13 or 13-1. Good Luck.
