Kanchanburi GF places

I'll be in Kanchanaburi for a few days next month. A buddy of mine was advised to BYO as there wasn't much going on there. He was disappointed to see the action along the riverside which he couldn't join because of his guest.

 

He stayed in one of the guesthouses along the river (can't remember the name) but he didn't see any BF being brought in the the guys he spoke to in the bars were mostly expats.

 

Any ideas on girl-friendly hotels in Kanchanaburi? Preferably along the riverside among the action.

Better to BYO...a nice guest house is Pong Phen, located between the river and the main drag....great spot.

 

here is their website http://pongphen.com/ i prefer the bungalows for 1000 baht a night but they have rooms for as little as 400baht.

I've stayed at several along the river. never had a problem. If your concerned, best to give your hotel of choice a call. There is a VERY small bar scene. Mostly a tourist town.

I have stayed at Puun Waan twice now,and it is very nice.it is a little further out of town,but its a beautifull spot.There are some nice bars there,with some goods girls.You will find one no worries,but if you have a good take away,bring her along,and maybe grab another.Why not indeed?
