Skull found on remote Island close to Pattaya

Police have opened a murder investigation following the discovery of a skull in undergrowth close to a beach on Koud Island which is located close to the popular destination for tourists, Larn Island, 4kms off the coast of Pattaya. The discovery was made on Friday evening by Khun Un aged 52, a local fisherman who was burning refuse on the beach when he went to explore and found the skull which has a clear hole through the side of it, suggesting a suspicious death. Rescue workers indicated to us that they had found a headless male skeleton in the same area some months ago and have given this information to Police and forensic doctors who will determine if the headless skeleton and skull are the same person or not.
