West indies have just posted a formidable 205-4 in their 20 overs . Should be more than enough to win this semi but you never know in 20-20

 

I think something special from David Warner or Shane Watson is needed but unlikely as 10 an over + needed , odds on WI to face Sri lanka in sundays final . We'll see

It will take a while for us to get on top with this form of the game. We don’t play it much in Australia so it looks like we experiment a bit too much. Apart from the fact our team is rebuilding at the moment the 20/20 game needs a different skill set than the 50 over game which needs different skills than Test cricket.

 

Sad fact is that although we should be competative I think we might be in for a few more pastings before we reach our potential in this form of the game.

I wouldn't be too concerned about 20/20 cricket . It's a bit of fun for the masses and keeps the tv companies and advertisers happy . The players take it seriously now because of the financial rewards . How many ipl matches or any 20/20 matches for that matter live in the memory for more than a few days/weeks ?
