I was wondering if anyone here has any reviews on Diamond Beach hotel

Im thinking of staying there over new years

I've never actually stayed there but its in a great location in Soi Diamond, smack bang in the middle of everything.

i stayed there in december 2006, and didn´t like it.

old rooms, bad badroom (water came dripping down from the ceiling)

reception looks good and nice little swimmingpool inside.

only stayed a week and then finaly found a beter place. (lek hotel)

I stay there every trip it is no Sheraton

 

but it is close to everything. It is an old hotel the rooms are not great but not bad either every once in a while you get a bad room

 

My favorite part is walking out the front entrance and entering the candy store

 

also no guest fees and you should see the women that walk in and out of the place

staff is friendly (of course it is thailand)

downside no pool

soi sex is pretty far (That may be a good thing)

yes i have seen those little things too....... as i said before, i was happy to have found another place after a week.

i was very shy to have a girl in the room so bad was my room.

unless it has had a major efurb in the last five years avoid.

 

Grim rooms, but cheap.

 

Plenty of nasties to keep you company (cockroaches and bed bugs)

 

The worlds worst soapy massage parlour is attached to it, avoid at all costs.

 

the best thing about it would be- heavens above outside the front door
