Hotel with best free breakfast

I'm use to staying at the same hotel when I visit Pattaya which is Dynasty Inn but they do not serve free breakfast. In your opinion which hotel has the best free breakfast?

The best breakfasts IMO are the Irish Rovers or the Devonshire or 18 Coins. But i wouldn't have thought that's the main criteria for choosing a hotel. You can buy one of these breakfasts for 100 baht wherever you stay.

The Flipper on Soi 7 is really good IMHO but you can get a lot of good breakfasts around various Pattaya for around 150 Baht. The Eastiny hotel breakfasts are OK. Can I ask how much they are charging you at the Dynasty? Reason I ask is I have several friends who seem to like that place. Cheers!

If you are an elite member (Gold or Diamond) of Hilton's loyalty programm you'll get breakfast for free at Hilton Pattaya. And this is truely a great breakfast: great quality and huge variety will give you a perfect start into the day. And while you get your breakfast you can sit on a terace and have a wonderful view at Pattaya seaside and Beach Road

Please keep in mind that everything I write is based on my own experiences, my personal preferences and my expectations. YMMV!

And still they will charge 1000 bhat for a guest with a disgust look even though the breakfast is free. LOL

Good but not for Pattaya.

My wife is a sex object. Every time I ask for sex, she objects..

You forget to mention the the rates of the rooms are really expensive as well. And you forget to mention that you can avoid joiner fee if you come back to the hotel before 11pm.

Anyway breakfast was free for me in the past (and will be free for me, if I ever decide to get back to Hilton Pattaya). And it is a great breakfast: different kinds of bread, different kinds of cold cut, different kinds of cheese, fried rice, fried vegetables, bacon, sausages, khao tom, jok, an egg station, where they cook eggs to your order, meat loaf, different kinds of fruites and yoghurts, different kinds of juices, different kinds of cakes, sushi, and still lots more.

And yes, they obvious don't want the cheep fuckers from all over the world as their guests.

It is good, even in Pattaya, unfortunately it's not for the cheapos

There is no such thing as a free lunch, or breakfast for that matter :-)

What is the room rate at Hilton?

What is the room rate at Hilton?

It's expensive. "Standard" rooms usually start at 4.500 THB without breakfast. Even at this high rates the hotel obviously is well booked by asian and russian guests (non mongers).

My opinion, most breakfast buffets I've seen are boarder line horrible. I usually ask the hotel for discount on my room rate if I don't take the free breakfast.

But then, I'm not really a breakfast lover.

Considering the location & the overall service it's a 5* hotel and yes they are expensive and for certain class but to treat customer bad when they bring guest is BS. They should clearly mention them as a Family hotel in all Online booking site. Again avoiding the reception or taking deferent elevator to avoid doesn't make any sense.

What it make sense is the buffet dinner and it is the best choice in Pattaya. That is class dinning.

honestly i don't get time to have breakfast as i wakeup 1-2PM every day and time for a direct brunch/lunch LOL.

I am more to guest friendly hotel now and if i want to treat me bit luxury for couple of days Dusit D2 is the right choice. This time i have chosen Amari nova 1 bedroom suites and those 100Sqm rooms are huge. Only the location is off beat but heard great reviews so hope for the best. First couple of night i am staying in Baboona sea view rooms.

Another English breakfast thread, we haven't had one in at least a day.

Stay where you want and have breakfast at 2pm when you get up after a 6am night out, in the Pig and Whistle or one of the many other places mentioned in the many other threads LOL

The travel lodge does a good breakfast all you can eat for£7.99

See, obviously I'm quite different from you, though I usually get up between 8am and 9am and I really love to have a quality breakfast. That's why Hilton can make sense for someone. Different blokes, different strokes :hello09:

But the joiner fee annoys me, though next time I'll probably stay at Page 10 or Mercure. Both are at least 1 or 2 level below Hilton, but still decent enough quality for me. And the location fits well with me. But I'll take your tip and have a look at D2 as well.

Siam Bayshore had a great breakfast.

Always used to stay at the Flipper Lodge Soi 7. They probably factor in the breakfast with the price of the room but a great location exellent European and Thai buffet..i like a bit of both and the good thing .. still open till 1pm.
