Hotels In Soi Buakhao

I've now stayed twice at the stereo bar which is on the soi buakhao / LK Metro corner, only returned from there earlier this week (was there also in june for 3 weeks), rooms are great,, you know the usual facilities are there 650 - 750 baht per night, good bar downstair , nice friendly girls great owners in Andy & Steve, no swimming pool but I believe there is one that can be used on a daily basis - just ask Andy & Steve. Afew good bars, the infamous hell club 30 seconds away - but only go there on your last day or you will be skint before you know it!!! A pretty good agogo called Oasis 60 secs away, a couple of good restuarants that do pretty good breakfasts, and all within an easy walking distance of everything else that patts has to offer!! Sadly there website is down at the moment http://www.stereopattaya.com/ but there is a forum on here where you can find a few others give reviews of the stereo, simply called stereo bar have a great time!

I would have to say stereo bar is excellent-stayed in july and booked again for month of december.

Butchers Arms also has good rooms..

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction - "it was just the internet.." is not an excuse.

I am thinking of staying in Soi Buakhao on my next trip Oct/Nov, any ideas? I am looking for good value/near to good bars & food/maybe a swimming pool/guest friendly etc. Any with Websites? Thanks.

The siam sawasdee is cheap at about 600 per nite, decent pool ect,not the best but for600 its ok i guess, the manager reminded me of basil fawlty so its now affectionatly known as fawlty towers to me and me mates.Theres loads of massage parlours within spitting distance and the thumporn laundry across the road is the best laundy is the best service i have had at a thai launderette,i even take my laundry there when im staying down the royal twins or welcome plaza

A place that I have stayed in Soi Bhukhao a few times and would recommend is the Greenery hotel. It has simple rooms that have all necessary amenities and the hotel is very clean. It also has helpfull staff as well as being girl friendly. I think I was paying about 750BHT a night in the high season and slightly less in the low season.

Stayed at Sunview Place on my first trip to Pattaya. Room was spartan but very clean and neat. Quiet area but 2 minute baht bus ride to LK Metro or 10 min Baht bus ride to Walking Street. I only paid 750 baht per night. Staff very honest too, left my laptop and video camera out and was never even touched.

Sunview Place looks pretty good from the Web-site. I assume it's guest friendly but does anyone know if there's any extra charge for multiple guests?

I'm looking at a stay of about 30 days so I want a decent size space. Anyone got any info on the suites - might be interesting if I can get a monthly deal.

While I'm asking newbie questions, is the ADSL internet service advertised on the Web-site in-room or in the lobby?

Any info on this place would be much appreciated.

hi diocletion, yes you are correct, no joiner fee, but they do charge 300 baht for a second girl. i'm sure they will do you a deal for a 30 day stay, just email them, they will get back to you within 24 hours. they knock 50 baht a night of the bill if you pay the bill upfront.

as for the computers? they have 2 in the lobby. this really is a nice little hotel for the price.

Have a look at Canterbury Tales Cafe, just off Soi Bauhkow in Soi Chaiyapoon, a bit quieter than Bauhkow itself and soon www.canterburytalescafe.com will be online.

Rooms have A/C, Fan, Fridge, table/chairs, tea/coffee makers, in room safe, TV, DVD player, large free dvd library, En-suit, Free Wifi, some have balconies, we have 2 large apartments with seperate lounge, bedroom and shower room, with 2 TV's, 2 dvd players, microwave, etc etc.

There is a free Internet PC in the Restaurant a Free pool table and one of the best Breakfasts in Pattaya.

Hello,

I just checked their website, are the rooms really what you see on their website?

The place really looks great...just not sure if I want to be less than 2nd street away from the beach.

Hi mate

This info is less than one week old and applies to the monthly rates for April/May

Standard room 18,000 bht size 20 sq metres!

Pool view room 19,500 bht size 28 sq metres

Superior room 21,000 bht size 32 sq metres

These rates include the following Elect/water/daily maid service/free internet in lobby and an electronic safe in room!

This place is simple to get around from as baht buses pass right in front of hotel, going both North and South!

Hope this helps, the only peculiar thing IMPO is they require a photo of you when you book! :GiveBeer1::GiveBeer1::Party1:

I can recommend D Apartment in Soi Buakhaow, next to LK Royal Suite and close to Pattaya Klang (Pattaya Central Road). Read this link and this link for lots of information.

I agree. D Apartments is a favourite of mine too.
