I checked this place a few weeks ago. Looked very new and classy. For some reason I got bad vibe, maybe it was this ladyboy/femboy receptionist who seems like rude or at least had the I-dont-care-a-shit-attitude. And btw I do not have anything against ladyboys or femboys

 

Also for that price I personally want swimming pool.

 

But overall place look good.

 

There were also a place called Thep apartment, almost next to Winner place and this Thep apartment was quite nice. If I remember correctly it was a bit cheaper than Winner place.

Thanks Jake - for 1000 a day in peak high season compared to many other places I've considered the price seemed OK to me but I'm a novice in picking places

Thanks Figo, to be fair the person I have been in contact with has been quite patient and co-operative, As I'm a bit short on luggage allowance on the flight I've taken the weekly rate which they changed to a daily rate without me asking. Though it looks like I will need some cheap chairs for the balcony...as none provided.

Compared to Soi B, Soi Legkee and Soi LK Metro rooms which were my other option circa 800 baht to over 1000 baht I'm currently OK with the deal negotiated

Hello DJW, there are no pools allowed to be used that I know of, let me know if you find one. I have found another good deal which is with LK Premier hotel just off 3rd road opposite Soi Exyte nearly next door to Bliss lounge for 15k a month inc elec and water and cleaned twice a week and they have told me you can use any of the LK swimming pools at the other hotels

Thanks Devee will consider the LK Premier option next time, in low season I normally use the pool at Chabba Hut which will hopefully be OK in high season too.

Nice hotel.Stayed in the hotel February 2012 and from 11.January 2013 till 18.January 2013.But the gay receptionist is very rude und unfriendly.I never check in there again.I want to be treated like a guest and not like a criminal or a soldier on a barrack yard and that includes friendly talking to guests.I never experienced such a behaviour of a receptionist since I spent my first holiday in Thailand 12 years ago.What a pity....cos hotel is really nice .-)

This looks like a nice option for monthly rental.

-how are the noise levels around the hotel?

-I eat at foodcourt at Central Festival often, how long of a walk to get there?  How far to Soi LK?

-are water and electricial included in monthly rental?

-is shower thai style or enclosed so the washroom/toilet area doesn't get flooded?

I was able to find out that it is not included and that is not surprising for a monthly rental.(25 baht/unit of water and 7 baht/unit electricity)  I would say add 1500-2500 for this.  Cleaning is twice a week for monthly.

Now if anyone has any info on noise in immediate vicinity and walk times to Central and Soi LK that would be great.

I had a look at it 4 weeks ago and liked it a lot. the lack of pool lets it down but the rooms were well appointed and even a great drying rack on the balcony. I was with TGF but would assume is joiner friendly.

Yes it was in Dec 2013 and returning next month so hope nothing has changed.   Great quality bed, very small balcony with no chair and gave me side effect of vertigo which i'd never experiened before so dropping down to 3rd floor this year.  Quiet and tidy IMO
