Haven Hotel or Dynasty hotel

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi folks,

I think i have narrowed my choice for my next stay down to the Haven hotel or the Dynasty hotel. Both have pools and seem to be in a good location and have decent rooms and free wifi as well as safe.

Any fellow addicts had the pleasure of staying at either or both. What one would you go for?

Also are both very GF as i have been known to bring back 2 or 3 LBFM's :GoldenSmile1:

Any feedback and help appreciated.

Is this the dynasty on soi 13 or 13/1, if so its an ok hotel, the pool though is small and on the roof, The staff are friendly and guest friendly they keep the girls id's until they go, not sure if there is an extra charge for more then 1 guest, defo LB friendly, and good location(Walking Street a few mins walk,, LK Metro 2 mins walk, and sois 7 and 8 a 10 minute walk) , food is pretty good to , i would stay there again.

hey

dynasty is a nice hotel

great location (soi 13) , 10 min away from Walking Street

it`s a bit old, you can see it immediately after you enter the room

overall you won`t be disappointed

no joiners fee (1 for sure, maybe 2- can`t remember for sure)

they have different rates which varies according to how many nights you plan to stay

the more you stay, the less you pay

a well known benefit of hotels in Thailand , they just simply say it in advance so there`s no need for negotiation .

if you want a newer hotel , check out sandy spring

i highly recommend it ..

newer, great staff , no joiners fee, nice pool, big rooms , big t.v

balcony to the street or ocean

you can get a room next to the pool for an easy access from your bedroom directly to the pool

free limited (2 hours i think... don`t remember exactly) wifi all around

in addition , you can purchase a membership which gives you additional discount for the room rates

enjoy!

I stayed in both hotels and prefer the Haven.

Dynasty has a very small roof pool, the Haven's pool is much bigger and in a nicer area.

Both are guest friendly also think a second guest is in the Haven not a problem but I am not 100% sure of that.

Haven sells fantastic food.

It's a very popular eating venue, never stayed there though.

i prefer the haven

"And were you pleased?" they asked Helen in Hell.

"Pleased?" answered she,when all Troy's towers fell;

And dead were Priam´s sons, and lost his throne?

And such a war was fought as none had known;

And even the Gods took part; and all because

Of me alone! Pleased?

I should say I was!"

Stayed there my last three trips. No complaints from me, feel like having a change for my next trip though.

Was eying up The Haven myself just last week.

Have a look theres threads devoted to each place somewhere here.

Anyone to compare the wifi at both the Haven and the Dynasty?

Is it free in both hotels?

What are the signals / speeds like in the rooms?

Thanks.

Don't you think people get a little over concerned about 2nd joiner fees?

Average stay in Pattaya is 2 weeks.

If you are a consistent 3sum type then I agree it is a consideration but I would guess the average monger would take one girl back to loom 12 out of 14 nights. In that case for the sake of 600 baht or so I would not make it an (over) consideration when choosing a hotel. Far more important I would say is

Room quality

Price

Location

Pool (for those who want one)

Girl Friendly in the genuine sense i.e. the attitude of reception to joiners as opposed to the hotels "rules".

Haven hotel. Good mattress and pillows, if that's an important criteria. It is for me. Being so close to Beach road, you would expect some noise, but it's very quiet. Food is quite good, but you are so close to everything, it's not an issue. Very good staff and good management.

I just looked at the Sandy Springs hotel website, it has a similar location to the Haven hotel. I would not put it in the same category, as their rates are minimum 1500 baht a night, which could be a good value.

I'll probably stay at the Haven hotel again next month, for a few nights, then move to the P/H hotel in Soi Pattayaland

No harm finding out everything you can about a hotel in advance. Makes it a better experience and saves any issues to ask.
