I just got back from my holiday in Pattaya and my mate and I stayed at LK Metropole. Just thought I would give them a review on here as they were really great and made us feel very welcome and also were very friendly when it came to the ladies staying overnight. The hotel staff were very helpful and the doorman even arranged some nice girls when it came to in room massage.

Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Cheers

Imo there is only one winner between LK Metropole and Areca and that is the latter. Areca is not only cheaper but the rooms are not as tatty as the ones in LK Metropole (save for some of the rooms in the Areca building). The staff are also sooo much better at Areca and so is the pool!

i have stopped in both hotels and both are fantastic for the $$$ but for me the evergreen wing in Areca is well worth the extra baht.

Never been in the Areca. Thought the LK Metropole was okay. Pool access is a bit awkward as it is located in the front of the building. Lots to do nearby, pubs, 7-11, massage LK Metro Gogos. The breakfast set is shite. There is fruit, yogurt, rolls and such in a buffet set up. I suggest you stick to that. The room was clean enough and the elevators are very small. All in all. LK Metropole is an okay place for a few nights. Depending on where your room is it can be quite noisy however.

i just came back from 13 nights at the lk metropole, 1 bedroom with a suite and balocony.

5th floor, quiet, bolted down room safe, good water pressure, good size bath

real clean, no visitor issues, good pool, buffet breakfast till 11am etc etc..

not for the "cheap charlies" but i am rapt...all the girls where too!

recommend A+
