best way to ship /post parcels ,or if cheap a part container to the UK

Posted

I sent a large box 1 time via Royal Mail in the Uk (don't know where you are from)

It took 6 days and cost me £35 (1800 baht)

The one thing i would advise is , if possible write the address in English and Thai, many items with only an English address tend to go missing.

(Thai postmen can't read English)

For parcels, the standard service from the Thai post office has always been reliable for me.

I've used the post office on the aptly named Soi Post Office (13/2) numerous times to send large boxes back home.

They have people there to help you pack and wrap everything up and it is a very good price - same price for Thai and farang I think. You can buy boxes there and they sort everything out.

Just my experience - everything I have sent has been delivered ok.

I don't know about containers though...
