A serial female thief was arrested for drugging a doctor and stealing his car in Chiang Mai. News reports said she applied knockout drugs to her breasts, which were transmitted to a victim’s mouth through oral contact, causing him to pass out.

CHIANGMAI – September 2, 2012 [PDN]; at 4:30 p.m., an arrest of a known female thief was announced by Pol. Maj. Gen. Chamnarn Ruadrew, Deputy Commissioner section 5; Pol. Col. Veeravuth Neamnoy, Deputy Commander, Chiang Mai province; and Pol. Col. Kitison Kongtaweephan, Superintendent, Changpheurk police station, Chiang Mai province.

The suspect, Ms. Krittaya Jomnopphakhun or Tam, age 26, was arrested by police at room number 102, Supassorn resort, Sakornmongkol road, Tambon Haadyai, Amphur Haadyai, Songkhla province. Her previous adddress is listed as 1/14 Moo 4 Tambon Khaowua, Amphur Thamai, Chantaburi province.

Ms. Krittaya is accused of drugging a doctor and “stealing property at night or receiving stolen property,” according to the arrest warrant of Chiang Mai provincial court number 401.1/2555 dated August 22, 2012.

On August 11, a doctor reported to Chiang Mai police that he was drugged by Ms. Krittaya, who stole his car after he passed out.

The doctor had met Ms. Krittaya at the Warm Up entertainment center in Tambon Suthep, Amphur Muang Chiang Mai. They agreed to have sex together in his room at Sakulchai Court. But within 15 minutes after entering his room, the doctor fell unconscious. Ms. Krittaya then stole his car.

The police assumed Ms. Krittaya wanted to use the car to deliver drugs because of her previous history. Past news stories had reported the arrests of Ms. Krittaya and her boyfriend for drug dealing.

Ms. Krittaya denied news reports that she had applied drugs to her breasts to drug the doctor. She confessed that she stole the doctor’s car only and didn’t steal any other properties.

She told police she had gone to the entertainment center, where the doctor flirted with her and persuaded her to come to his room. While in his room, she went to take a shower, so the doctor was lying on the bed to wait for her. When she came out of the bathroom, she saw that he was sleeping.

Ms. Krittaya said she has her own car, but she had lost almost 1 million baht while play baccarat online. So she had to pledge her car to pay the debt. However, when she saw the doctor sleeping, she thought of stealing the doctor’s car to pledge.

Because it was almost Mother’s day, she needed her car to see her daughter and mother at Chantaburi province. But after she stole the doctor’s car, it was reported on the news. So she abandoned his car and parked it, and then escaped from Chiang Mai province.

In the initial police investigation, Ms. Krittaya confessed to every accusation except for drugging the doctor, said Pol. Maj. Gen. Chamnarn Ruadrew, Deputy Commissioner section 5.

But the police do not believe her claims of innocence, because there are currently three more arrest warrants at Trad province for Ms. Krittaya, and another arrest warrant in Bangkok. The warrants all accuse her of deceiving victims to have sex with her, and then stealing their property.

The police will coordinate with every area of related police districts to inspect further for the facts of the case. If any other victims in Chiang Mai province have had their property stolen by Ms. Krittaya, they can notify police and file a report.

funny how a story with a thai being caught with his pants down allows him to stay unknown

if this was a farang of any age caught short either by a female or katoey you can bet that they'd be named in full with their age and hometown in print

Wow. Consider the distances involved. Chiang Mai as far north as Thailand goes, Sonkhla almost in Malaysia, and Chantaburi and Trad around the Gulf near Cambodia. A general and two colonels in hot pursuit. That's a resourceful woman. Why charge her only with “stealing property at night or receiving stolen property”, and "the police assumed Ms. Krittaya wanted to use the car to deliver drugs because of her previous history"? Charge her with delivering nucular weapons!
