Vulgar Indian Men Beat Market Cleaning Lady

A 35-year-old cleaning woman reported being crudely propositioned by two Indian men who kept following her at a Samut Prakan marketplace. When she got offended and fired back with her own insult, the men got angry and beat her with her broom and pulled her hair.

SAMUT PRAKAN – September 1, 2012 [PDN]: a cleaning lady with a bruised body came to report being beaten by two men to Pol. Capt. Singkarl Nantachai, shift officer on duty, Pra Samutjadee, Samut Prakarn.

The 35-year-old victim, Ms. Boonyaporn, works as a cleaning lady at the market in Khusarng-Prach Utit Road, moo10 Klong Bang Pla Ko. She lives at house number 541/406Moo 10, tambon Klong Bang Pla Kot, Prasamutjadee, Samutprakarn.

Mrs. Boonyaporn told police that she was busy at work sweeping trash, and as she passed a bar where people were drinking, she heard someone say to her, “May I f­—- you?” When she looked back, she saw two giggling men of Indian descent.

She ignored them because she had to finish work and get back home to look after her child. She kept doing her work, but the two men began following her and repeating their vulgar requests. They continued harassing her in front of the merchants in the market, who were walking home.

Ms. Boonyaporn finally got offended by the crude Indians and shouted back at them, “Go f— your mom,” and tried to walk away. But while she was turning her back, the men pulled her hair and took her broom and used it to hit her many times.

Ms. Boonyaporn used her right arms to protect herself and absorb the blows from the broomstick. The men then kept beating her with both fists and kicked her until she got injured. She then ran out to the security volunteer riding his motorcycle on patrol, and begged him to take her to the police.

After receiving the report, Pol. Capt. Nantachai sent her to the hospital at Pra Samutjadee Sawattayanon to treat her injuries. Police went to check the crime scene and track down the identities of the Indian men.

One of the men is allegedly a money lender. The police have identified the suspects and are gathering evidence to obtain a warrant and arrest them.

Reminds me that when overseas I'm an ambassador for my country and the things I do, good or bad, will have some small, though important effect on the perception of my Countrymen by others.

The word Indian could very easily be replaced with any other nationality. The title encourages the reader to make gross stereotypes about Indians. I'm seeing more Indians in gogo clubs and by and large they appear to be very shy with the girls. All in all they are a friendly bunch.

Geez it is a report in a newspaper being turned into a race debate. Two blokes smack out a cleaning lady after she spurned their unwanted sexual advances is a dog act regardless of where they are from. Good and bad from everywhere.
