Hi,

I am looking forward to rent a SPAM WORD Unit with my friend starting from 25Jan 2013 for 30 days. I wonder if anyone has a feed back about this place regarding the distance from Walking Steet on foot and additional pictures would be a plus.

Thank You

Hi mate. I stayed there for 30 days over Xmas 2010. I had a 1 bed luxury apartment which was massive and well decorated. One thing though, the beds are absolutely rock hard. Nice bar/restaurant opposite called My Thai. The area is very gay though, so if that bothers you I'd choose somewhere else. It would be about a 20 minute stroll to WS but you can get a baht bus outside Tuk Com just a couple of hundred metres away.

The apartments are located on soi day night if that helps the soi runs parallel to Tucom you could google Dr olivers clinic on google maps which is a English speeking Dr that a lot of the expats use hope it helps locate the Mosaik apartments for

I've been staying here the last 16 nights. The first 8 were booked on Agoda just a standard room, when I arrived there wasn't one available so they let me stay in a one bedroom apartment which was really nice at no extra cost. To stay in a similar room cost 1200 a night, I've been in a standard room the last 8 nights and leaving today. I would want to stay in a one bedroom unit next time if staying here again, the monthly rates are not too bad.

I would call it the gay area but no one bothers me apart from asking if I want a massage I just say 'going for one on Soi Honey' 5555

Yes its a very Gay area and the street could be better lit at night, apart from that Mosaic is fine.

Better deals can be had else where.

If "Yuck" is the way you feel about ladyboys, you are going to have a hard time in Pattaya :GoldenSmile1:

About right 10-15 mins depending how fast you walk. You are close to the south end of Soi Boukaow, just cross the main road and catch a baht bus along there so that is an easy way to get to the LK Metro area when you want.

Ludhamlad- thanks for the response.

About 10 minutes walk to WS and near near Tuc Com, as almost everyone knows where it is, which is great if you need to give directions e.g. to a motorbike taxi or a girl.

Mosaik has become my favorite accommodation in Pattaya and I'm going back there in November. I recommend Studio Prestige but it's often fully booked. I've also tried the more expensive Suite Deluxe and Suite Prestige. Both are great but I will not pay extra for Studio Prestige again because the main difference to Suite Deluxe is a separate kitchen which I do not need. (Who does?).

IMO, pictures shown at the Mosaik website reflects reality, what you see is what you get.

Tuk Com is an easy walk to Walking Street, or hop a baht bus for a 2 minute trip. I looked at staying Mosaik last trip but decided to go back to Residence Garden on Thaphraya Road, huge 1r apartments, 2 pools, 1450 baht a night. Plenty of baht buses going to Jomtien or through Pattaya.
