Visa agent for Thai girl

Does anyone know if there is an agent or office that offers such service?

The goal is to get her initially 3 months tourist visa to visit me in Sweden. AFAIK there should not be anything preventing for her getting it. The point is to make the process easier for her as they could help her with documents and visiting the embassy.

I could not find anything from Bangkok or Pattaya on this so any tips are appreciated!

IMO there are a lot of companies that will take your cash off you but you will still end up doing the donkey work... generally most companies like this hand you a folder with dividers in and tell you what to put in each section so you still have to send all the documents to Thailand (bank statements etc).

Is there no way you could organise things yourself?

The process looks pretty simple...

Agreed with 7-Eleven.... You can do it for her , Only cost you less than 5,000 bt for all documents, Photos Etc. Take your time, when you get all the documents needed, then it will be good as ready to go to an applications process. Make sure you get intineray Travel ticke(Dont purchase the ticket unitil her visa is approved) in your home country for her, Pattaya Travel Agent charged 3,000 bt for that whereas you could get it free at home.

Actually they don't do everything for you. In fact they don't do a lot at all. You still have to collect all the required documents, which IMO is the bulk of the work. All they do is check that everything is included and deliver it. After the documents are together I can prepare an application in about an hour or two. This includes supervising her completing the form, making copies of everything and writing a letter detailing our relationship and my background.

With a few brain cells and a little research anyone can put together a good tourist application for any civilised country. I say civilised (as far as visas go) because some countries, like the US, need a different approach...:P

Yes, very easy money to make on people. They can't do anything for you, only sweet talk and take you money.

Making a visit visa(Schengen Visa ) for girlfriend to sweden is very easy. I have just make for for my girlfriend to denmark and it is the same procedure for sweden. Take a look on this site: http://www.vfsglobal.com/sweden/thailand/ it tell you everything you need to now. There many forum talk about apply for visa, just google and you will find all the information you need.

No disrespect but some people have real problems filling in forms, one of my friends done it all himself no problem, another one gave up and got the visa company to do it, another one changed his mind and split up with his tgf.

Some people are on a two week holiday and want help, the visa company can do this, His initall question was if you could get help, he could not find a visa company!

But your definitely right can do it all your self via internet

Stay away from Easy Visa and Paul King had a very bad experience with them!!

So easy to do it yourself mate. I actually called and spoke with Dept of Immigration in Australia, nice chap told me exactly what documents I needed. Supplied the application form in Thai so the girl didn't could fill it out herself, no translator needed.

Their main concern was that she can show that she has either family or property or job to return to Thailand. Australia is a big place and people can go missing for years if they want to. I don't think many country's that require you to apply for a visa make it hard to get a tourist visa, just so long as a a few criterea are met.

Total cost was about 3500baht and a bit of legwork by the girl.....some visa agents are asking anywhere from 20k to 60k I've heard. And as others have said, they really can't do much to help you anyway. You have to chase the documents and fill in the forms, all they do is check and submit them for you. Big deal....

Yes you can do it yourself if you have the time to spend. I have used Darren at Key visa in the past for my tgf and then my wife. Because I couldn`t spend enough time to sort things out myself he was a great help. Yes it cost money, but you get a hassle free service and at less cost to me than having to travel back and forward to do everything. Several friends have done it themselves but took them months in Thailand which at the time I just couldn`t do and I am greatful for this service even if it did cost money.

The best way is to contact the visa agent personally by phone or email to find out if he is really as good as you someone suggested and he's actually the one who is going to do the actual works for you. In many cases, the person who is actually doing the works for you is only one of the thai female staff in the company and she has very little experience in visa applications. If you are still making up your mind, have a look at www.visa2world.com.

Hey Scumbag thanks for giving visa agents a leg up, I new I could depend on you :GoldenSmile1:

Look guys not everybody wishes to present an application themselves and remember most of the time it is left in the girlfriends hands to finish off and submit and most guys wish for there partner to be babysat through the process and have it presented and delivered and collected by an agent if this wasn't the case I wouldn't of been doing them for 13 years, I love the brain cells bit, I have ordered your work permit Scumbag, Only joking, Have a look at my website and face book you will see 90% of my clients now are Aussies, great people and love to deal with them, anyway we do charge a fee of course but we never and have never ripped anybody off as you will see with the price structure on the website under Aussie visas, you can also look under the Pattaya expats club and see who has been there visa advisor for 8 years, he is a great bloke called Darren, he works for Key Visa :hello09: But you do know your onions Scumbag, and it is always good to remember that not everyone wishes to do it alone.

As per the other thread, I have had success with a nice thai lady at Easy Travel.

Moo 10, Soi 15, 2nd Road, Pattaya, Bang Lamung, Pattaya, Chonburi, 20150

The email is [email protected]

Plenty of my friends use this lady, she does her bi weekly trips to bangkok, and most of all is very easy for your tg to communicate with her.

charge is 9000b
