What Do You Eat For Breakfast?

Hey all

As they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It starts your day off right, so you've got the energy to enjoy the Pattaya life ;)

I live in Pattaya and eat out at restaurants 3 times a day. However, lately I've been getting bored of the food options for breakfast. I'd love to hear what you like to eat for breakfast in Pattaya.

Since I don't eat cereal anymore, I tend to cycle through:

  • English breakfast.
  • Thai food.
  • Japanese food (at Fuji).

What do you eat for breakfast??

My first choice is always

I'd kill for

but never found it in Thailand

Please keep in mind that everything I write is based on my own experiences, my personal preferences and my expectations. YMMV!

Hmm, the first two are interesting - I eat Thai food in the mornings, but haven't tried that for breakfast. Will give it a go.

As for the German dish - a couple of those would be very nice with a glass of orange juice!

I just ate this for brekky today.

  • Kebab chicken, with salad.
  • Lentil soup.
  • Total: 125BHT

Pretty good meal...I eat it about once or twice a month for variety. However, if I'm planning on going to say hello to some ladies, I opt out of the white garlic sauce - it's pretty strong on the breath!

It all depends...I usually skip breakfast because I wake up late, but when I do, I like to go for the more traditional breakfast (eggs, meat, and toast) Orange juice and coffee to drink.

When in Thailand I eat Thai food. The only traditional breakfast I'll eat at home is eggs and I'll have them for any meal. Thai food is soooo good.

I cook my own American breakfast at home. The whole cost is around 50 baht, that includes 2 eggs, 5 strips of bacon and toast. Most of the items I purchase are from Friendship Market on Pattaya Tai.

It's from the food court at Big C Extra. It's a kebab place there. The red sauce is spicy and they ask if you want it.

Hmmm...might have to try the porridge option. Simple breakfast, but people have been successfully starting their day with that for a long time.

How long does that keep you full for? I think I'd be hungry in an hour. I'm normal weight, 35 years old.
