Underage Kids Nabbed At Game Cafe

Complaints from parents led police to raid an internet and gaming café that let kids under 18 play games and surf the internet. Police hauled12 kids and the cafe owner to the police station. Parents later picked up their kids. The owner will be prosecuted.

BANGLAMUNG – August 29,2012 [PDN]: at 4:15 pm, a complaint was received about a gaming café allowing underage kids inside the cafe by Pol. Sen. Serg. Maj. Wisarut Buathong, the leader of security box police of Nernplabwarn, Banglamoong, sub branch Nongprue.

Many parents complained about the internet and game café named Jaff Internet, located on No. 13/236 Moo5, Tambon Nong Prue, Banglamung, Chonburi. They told police the café allowed students under the age of 18 to come in and play for a limited time.

After receiving the report, police rushed to the scene. When they reached the café, they discovered school children and adults excitedly playing games and having fun on the Internet.

There were 12 students under 18 years of age, including 10 boys and 2 girls. The police took the kids and the café owner, Mr. Amonwat Rungrattanapan, age 29, to the police station to investigate.

The police initially questioned and photographed the children to record as evidence. They then arranged for their parents to take them home. The owner, Mr. Amonwat, the owner, will be prosecuted according to law.
