Hat Yai Hat Day Festival launched to boost tourism

SONGKHLA, Aug 30 - Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Hat Yai Office is launching 'Hat Yai Hat Day Festival' to boost local tourism all year-round.

Prapas lnthanapasart, local TAT director, said the festival will be held monthly, starting Sept 1, with sponsorship by the TAT, Hat Yai municipality, and the Tourists Business Federation of Songkhla on Sanehanusorn Road.

The festival will offer entertainment activities for fair-goers as well as hat making demonstration from natural materials.

Many Thais and foreigners are expected to visit the fair. (MCOT online news)
