Man arrested and stolen items seized following accounting office break-in from last week.

 

 

An update now on a story we featured last week relating to a break-in at the Saturday Night Accounting Office located on the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien. The owner of the business, Khun Sawalot aged 33 reported the theft of 5 Desktop Computers and 1 Xerox Photocopying Machine totaling around 100,000 Baht. The Office was dusted for prints and many were taken from the scene. On Thursday Morning, Police Major Chayagrit from the Undercover Unit at Pattaya Police Station arrested Khun Somsuk aged 30 at the Chockdee Village in Soi Greenway in Jomtien based on evidence collected at the scene of the crime. Inside the suspect’s house, the stolen computers and photocopying machine were found and seized. At the Police Station, Khun Somsuk explained that he used to work in the office next to the Saturday Night Accounting Office but the business failed and he needed some money so he decided to gain access to his former office and break-in to the Accounting Office through the back door. Khun Somsuk is now behind bars awaiting a court appearance.
