Review: Westerly Hills Hotel - Soi 13 / 1 (Soi Yamato)

Hi Mates,

 

on my last trip I had the pleasure to stay in Westerly Hills hotel located in Soi 13 / 1.

 

Here are some details:

 

3 different room types

 

- Normal room (800 / 1000 Baht), 20 sqm

- Superior room (1100 / 1300 Baht), 25 sqm

- Suite (1800 / 2500 Baht), ~110sqm Bedroom, Living room, Kitchen (not working right now), 4 ACs

 

All rooms have the same style ecxept the size.

 

Prices are low season and high season. I stayed in a superior room for about 14 days, so I only payed 1000 Baht a night.

 

The hotel an older house but completely refurbished inside. So everything is pretty new and clean (not 5* Standard).

 

The hotel has two entrances. One for the normal rooms and one for the superior rooms and the suite. There is a lift for superior rooms and suite. For normal rooms you have to use the stairs.

It is a NO Service hotel. Which means you have no reception at nighttime, you can't get any meals or soft drinks.

Towels and Linen are changed every day.

I personally can recommend this hotel

 

Summary:

+ Clean, new room

+ Fresh towel and linen every day

+ Separated shower with hot(!) water

+ Big 2x2m bed

+ Flat TV, Fridge

+ In-Room Save (I-Pad fits, but no larger notebooks)

+ Elevator (only superior rooms + Suite)

+ No reception (--> no ID Check, no Girl count) may be an disatvantage for some people

+ Located between Beach road and 2nd road

 

- Free WIFI is slow (Emails + Board reading possible, but that's it)

- No reception (--> no security, no ID-Check)

- No pool (even if never use a pool)
